Dual Praise Biography

We were born into a fun loving Christian Family. At an early age we started singing.

Our family was a Quartet Group known as The Golden Stars. We practiced during the morning and afternoon on Saturday. During the week we practiced after school.

Since we were in the same house we sometimes would start singing at the back of the house and would wind up in the front by the end of the song.

When we sung we never had to worry about starting off on the wrong key our older sister Stella (Sister) would give us the key on the piano or with her voice.

We learned from experience …

…how to harmonize and not over sing the lead singer.

We enjoyed singing and would often skip going outside or engaging in other activities to rehearse.

On any given week day or weekend you could find us singing at various churches. Singing with our Church Choir and several Mass Choirs was a great experience.

Today the Lord has truly blessed us. At the present time we have recorded two CD’s, produced 7 CD’s and Eleven Recording Artists.

We are JoAnn Smith and Doretha Robinson now known as Dual Praise.
